Shimulia-Kathalbari route ferry services resume after 12 hours

MUNSHIGANJ, Oct 08 (UNB): Ferry services on Shimulia-Kathalbari route resumed on Tuesday morning after 12 hours of suspension due to strong current in the Padma River.

Nasir Ahmed Chowdhury, general manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Shimulia ferry ghat, said the ferry services resumed at 9 am which was suspended at 8 pm on Monday due to the strong current.
