Shocked at Nusrat’s death, ailing brother hospitalised

FENI, Apr 13 (UNB): After being shocked over the death of madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi, his younger brother Rashedul Hasan Raihan, was admitted to a hospital in Feni on Friday night.

Raihan, a class X student of Sonagazi Senior Fazil Madrasa, lost his consciousness several times before the burial of his sister on Thursday, according to family members.

Besides, he was repeatedly denying taking food due to his failure to bear the pain of his sister's death, they said.

On April 06, Nusrat was set afire at an examination centre allegedly by people loyal to the principal of her madrasa after he was arrested and subsequently suspended as she had accused him of sexually harassing her.
