Signal No. three for maritime ports (8-7-2018)

Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No. three as the low over the Northwest Bay and adjoining area has been formed and likely to intensify over the same area, reports UNB.

Squally weather is likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, said a special bulletin of the Met office issued on Saturday.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
