Sylhet BGB seizes smuggled goods worth Tk 12.8m

SYLHET, April 12, 2025 (BSS): The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized smuggled goods worth about Taka 12.8 million from different areas of the district on Saturday.

Different teams of BGB raided in different border areas of Banglabazar, Lobia, Noakot, Kalairag, Bichanakandi, Panthomai, Protappur, Uthma, Sripur and Sangram, and recovered the illegal goods in an abandoned condition.

During the raids, they seized sunglasses, sugar, cows, chocolate, hair oil, candy, juice, soap, liquor, fish and trucks from the areas.
