Bangladesh Shikkhok Samity demanded on Wednesday raising budgetary allocation for nationalisation of secondary education in the country, reports UNB.
The leaders of the association came up with the demand at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters' Unity.
The teachers' leaders said they have taken responsibility of nation- building and for that reason they demand equal opportunity of education for all.
For the interest of the country secondary education must be nationalised and more allocation should be made in the national budget for education sector so that poor people can continue their study, they said.
