Three journalists get DCAB Media Award

The Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) on Thursday honored three of its members with the inaugural "DCAB Media Award" in recognition of professional excellence and contributions to foreign affairs reporting, reports BSS.

The awards were presented by Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin at a ceremony held at the Foreign Service Academy.

Speaking at the event, the Foreign Secretary lauded DCAB's initiative and expressed hope that such recognition would continue to inspire diplomatic correspondents in the future.

The award recipients were Mizanur Rahman, Special Correspondent of Daily Manabzamin, in the print category; Md Mashrequl Islam (Mashreq Rahat), Senior Reporter of Maasranga TV, in the television category; and Md Nazrul Islam, Diplomatic Correspondent of Dhaka Post, in the online category.
