Three of a family burnt in Savar cylinder blast

SAVAR, Feb 06 (BSS): Three members of a family sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in Ashulia on Thursday.

The injured are Imran Hasan Sunny, 35, hailed from Katasur area in the capital, his wife Mukta Akhter, 32 and their son Kazi Minhaj, 11.

The injured Imran Hasan Sunny confirmed the incident and said the explosion occurred while his newly bought private car was refilling gas at Habib CNG filling station adjacent to Haji Jamal Uddin Motor Parts Market at Palashbari in Ashulia at around 03:00 pm.

After the sudden explosion, he along with his wife and their son received burn injuries , he added.

Imran said all of them have received treatment from local hospital.
