Two held over Ha-Meem Group GM's murder

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested two people in connection with the recovery of the body of a general manager at Ha-Meem Group's garment unit, reports bdnews24.com.

The arrestees are Md Saiful Islam, 39, and Md Nur Nabi Mia, 19.

RAB-1 Company Commander Maj Muhammad Ahnaf Rasif Bin Halim said Saiful was arrested in Falgachha of Gaibandha's Sundarganj and Nabi in Harram Uttarpara of Lalmonirhat's Kaliganj on Wednesday.

The RAB official would not comment on the motive behind the murder. Police recovered the body of Md Ahsan Ullah, 48, near a plot on Road 3, Sector 16 in Diabari on Tuesday afternoon.

He was the GM of "That's It Sports Wear Ltd", a unit of Ha-Meem Group. He had been missing for two days before the body was found, according to police.
