Two killed, two others injured in Ctg landslide

CHATTOGRAM, Apr 23: Two workers died and two others were injured, as soil collapsed on them during excavation for the CWASA drainage system in Halishahar of the port city on Thursday.

The victims were identified as Tushar (22), and Rakib (25). They both hailed from Dinajpur district. The injured persons were identified as Ershad (22) and Sagor (25).

Sources said four workers working at the site were buried under the ground. The Agrabad Fire Service and colleagues quickly rescued the injured.

The incident occurred in the Agrabad B-4 Access Road area at Halishahar area.
