Two shot in dispute over kitchen market in city

Two men have been shot due to a dispute over the leadership of the Shia Mosque kitchen market committee in capital's Mohammadpur, report agencies.
The incident took place on Thursday night in the area surrounding the Shia Mosque, according to Iftekhar Hasan, chief of Mohammadpur Police Station.
Witnesses said the miscreants riding on a motorbike opened fire on them, who was sitting inside the office of the market committee adjacent to Shia Masjid around 9:30pm and fled the scene immediately.
Of the injured, president Abul sustained injuries in legs while Mahbub in the back, said sources at the hospital.
The injured, Abul Hossain and his brother Mahbub Hossain, were rushed to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Shamim Reza, duty-officer of Mohammadpur police station, confirming the matter said that no case has been filed in this regard yet.
