Two youths die as truck dashes their bike in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 29: Two youths riding a motor cycle were killed as a truck dashed the vehicle in the Dewanhat area under Lohagarha police station on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Highway last night.

They were identified as Hamid Hassan Mishkat (22) and Saiful Islam Roki (22). The two friends were crushed as a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction dashed their motor cycle on Monday night.

Assistant sub-inspector of the Police Counter stationed at the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Alauddin Talukder said Hamid died in the hospital.

Saiful was from a village under Chandanaish upazila of the district.

Hamid was a 2nd year student of the BBA in Haji Mohsin Government College. He was from East Kalaujan village under Lohagarha police station, the ASI said.
