British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson recently visited the Rohingya Camps in Cox's Bazar to witness how the UK Aid is helping provide emergency food, safe water and hygiene for the Rohingya refugees, according to a post shared by British High Commission in Dhaka on its official Facebook page on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Besides supporting vaccination campaigns for the children, the UK Aid is also helping reunite traumatised children with parents, providing counselling and education for sexual violence survivors and protecting them from trafficking.
The UK's contribution stands ready to reduce the impact of natural disasters and outbreaks of disease and strengthen the resilience of affected Rohingya people and the host communities.
