UP member killed, three held in Patuakhali

PATUAKHALI, Oct 25 (UNB): Police arrested three people from different parts of the district on Sunday in connection with the murder of former UP member Aminul Gazi.
The arrestees are Anwar Pada, father-in-law of slain Aminul Gazi, Nizam, brother-in-law and Amzad.
Mohammad Mainul Islam, superintendent of Patuakhali Police, said police arrested the trio from different parts of the district.
Aminul Gazi alias Dilip Gazi (50), former UP member of Lalua union , was killed by miscreants on October 21. Later, victim's wife filed a case with Kalapara thana.
