The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Niaz Ahmad Khan, led the ceremony along with teachers, students, officials, and staff members of the university.
Additionally, exhibitions and screenings of Liberation War-themed pictures, films, and documentaries were held at various residential halls.
A voluntary blood donation drive was also organised at the Student-Teacher Center (TSC) by the student organisation Bandhan.

After Juhr prayers, special prayers were offered at the university's central mosque, Masjidul Jamia, as well as at various halls and residential area mosques. These prayers sought forgiveness for the martyrs and prayed for the prosperity and development of the country.
