Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

It also may occur at few places over Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The country's highest temperature was recorded at 34.7 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga on Wednesday and the lowest was 23.0 degrees in Sandwip.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 30.1 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 24.2 degrees.
