Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over southern part of the country in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday).

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may fall by (1-2) degrees Celsius over the country, says Met Office.

The country's highest temperature of 36.4 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Sylhet and the lowest of 24.0 degrees in Cox's Bazar.
