Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh, Sylhet and Dhaka divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Thursday).

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, says Met Office.

Rainfall may increase in the next five days.

The country's highest temperature of 35.7 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Srimangal and the lowest of 24.0 degrees in Teknaf.
