Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Dhaka, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Monday).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and regions of Sylhet, Rajshahi and Badalgachi in Naogaon and it may abate.

Day and night temperature may fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the country, Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Sunday in Sayedpur and the lowest of 24.0 degree in Rangamati.
