Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at most places over Barishal, Chottagram, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur and Khulna divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday).

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country and night temperature may fall slightly over the eastern part and it may rise slightly elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Jashore and the lowest of 24.4 degrees in Tetulia of Pachagarh.
