Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, said the Met Office.

The country's highest temperature 37.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Jashore and the lowest 22.9 degrees in Tetulia.
