Rain/thunder showers with lighting flashes accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions with hails at isolated places over the country in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Weather may remain mainly dry over the country with hails at isolated places, the Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature 37.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday at Satkhira and the lowest 20.0 degrees at Rangpur district and Tarash in (Rajshahi).
