Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and

Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the minimum was 24.0 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 30.0 degrees Celsius on Friday and the lowest was 27.2 degrees.
