Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over southern part of the country until 6:00pm today (Saturday), according to Met office.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country. The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Jashore and minimum was 27.0 Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 36.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and the lowest was 24.0 degrees in Rangamati.
