Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram and Barishal divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Rangpur, Khulna and Barishal divisions and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajgonj, Srimangal, Sandwip, Rangamati, Cumilla, Chandpur, Noakhali and Hatiya and it may abate.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the lowest was 26.2 degrees.
