Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Day and night temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius in Mongla, while the lowest temperature at 24.8 degrees in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, and the lowest was 26.1 degrees.
