Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions.

Night and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the riverbasins during early morning

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Ambagan, Kutubdia, Sitakunda, and Feni respectively while the lowest temperature at 18.0 degrees in Tetulia.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 20.6 degrees.
