Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere.

Mild to moderate heat wave may sweep over Rajshahi division and the districts of Tangail, Manikgonj, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged. The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 39.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 22.0 degrees in Tetulia and Sylhet.
