Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places until 6:00 pm today (Tuesday), according to the Met office.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the districts of Gopalganj, Patuakhali & Cox's Bazar and it may abate from some places

The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Monday at 39.2 degrees Celsius in Jashore, while the lowest temperature was 19 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 25.6 degrees Celsius.
