Light to moderate rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions until 6:00 pm today (Friday), according to the Met office.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Thursday at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Kumarkhali of Kushtia, while the lowest temperature was 21.8 degrees Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 24 degrees Celsius.
