Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi, Sayedpur, Sylhet, Srimangal, Chuadanga, Feni and Cumilla, while the lowest at 24.2 degrees in Srimangal.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 27.7 degrees.
