Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country until 6:00 pm today (Saturday).

Day and night temperature may fall slightly.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions and Rajshahi, Bogura and Chuadanga districts, and it may abate.

The highest temperature was recorded on Friday at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Nilphamari, while the lowest was 23.8 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
