Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangupr, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours until 6pm today (Sunday), reports UNB.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Tangail, Rajshahi, Kushtia and Netrakona and it may abate.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly across the country, said Met Office.

The country's highest temperature 36.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on Saturday in Chuadanga and the lowest 24.5 degrees in Chattogram.
