Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Thursday).

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Nikli of Kishoreganj and the lowest of 24.3 degrees at Rangamati.

The sun sets in the capital today at 6:50 pm and rises tomorrow (Friday) at 5:14am.
