Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Cumilla with hails at isolated places in the next 24 hours util 6:00 pm today (Monday).

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalgonj and Rangpur and it may continue.

The country's highest temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius was recorded on Sunday in Rajshahi and the lowest of 21.7 degrees in Dimla of Nilphamari and Tetulia of Panchagarh.
