Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division in the next 24 hours till 6pm to (Tuesday), reports UNB.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's highest temperature 40.0 degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday in Rajshahi and the lowest 20.5 degrees in Sylhet.

The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Monday was 36.3 degrees Celsius while the lowest 28.3 degrees.
