Weather may remain dry over the country in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night until morning, the Met Office said.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Sitakunda, Rangamati, Srimangal, Jessore, Kushtia and Barisal. Prevailing cold wave condition is likely to continue at places.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The country's highest temperature 27.5 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Patuakhali and Khepupara and lowest 07.1 degrees in Srimangal.
