Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Thursday), reports UNB.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night to morning, the Met Office said.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Tangail, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Rangpur, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Khulna, Satkhira, Chuadanga, Barishal, Bhola and Moulvibazar.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The country's highest temperature 27.0 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Sitakunda and the lowest 07.0 degrees in Chuadanga.
