Woman remanded over child kidnap in city

A Dhaka court has placed one Fatema Akter Shapla on a three-day remand in a case lodged over the kidnap of an eight-month-old baby after looting a house in capital's Azimpur area, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arobia Khanam passed the order on Sunday as police produced Shapla before the court with a five-day remand prayer in the case filed with the Lalbagh Police Station.
