World No Tobacco Day today (2018-05-31)

The World No Tobacco Day will be observed in the country as elsewhere across the globe today (Thursday), reports UNB.

The theme of this year's day is 'Tobacco Attacks Heart: Stay away, Save Lives'.

The day will highlight the health and additional risks associated with tobacco use and advocate for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption.

Every year, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and its partners mark the World No Tobacco Day on May 31.
