World Pharmacists Day celebrated at AIUB

The Department of Pharmacy at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) recently organised a day-long event on its campus to celebrate World Pharmacists Day 2025.

The event began with an inaugural rally, joined by eminent personalities including Ishtiaque Abedin, Founder Member, Board of Trustees, AIUB; Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees, AIUB; Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor, AIUB; as well as senior faculty members, students, and key figures from the pharmaceutical industry.

Among the notable attendees were Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor, AIUB; Md. Hasanuzzaman, Head of Strategy, Roche Bangladesh Limited; Mohammad Reazur Rahman, Manager, Marketing Strategy Department, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd.; S. M. Foysal Habib, Senior Vice President (Marketing & Sales), Chronic Care Division, Beacon Pharmaceuticals Plc; and Prof. Dr. Abu Syed Md. Mosaddek, Department of Pharmacology, Uttara Adhunik Medical College & CEO of a leading healthcare initiative.
