121 bank A/Cs of ex-MP Sheikh Salahuddin, associates frozen

A Dhaka court has ordered the freezing of 121 bank accounts belonging to former Member of Parliament (MP) from Khulna-2 and Vice Chairman of Modhumoti Bank PLC, Sheikh Salahuddin, and his associates, reports BSS.

The court also ordered the freezing of three Mobile Financial Service (MFS) accounts, three Beneficiary Owner (BO) accounts, and one savings certificate.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Fayez passed the order, allowing an application filed by the Criminal Investigation Department, the investigating agency in the case.
