19 arrested from AL procession in Ctg

CHTTOGRAM, May 15 (BSS): Police have arrested 19 individuals for organising a procession of banned Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organisations in the Jamiatul Falah National Mosque area in the city.

A case has been filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act in connection with this incident, as reported in a press release of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Friday. The procession took place after the Namaz-e-Janaza of former minister and freedom fighter Engineer Mosharraf Hossain on Thursday. The group of leaders and activists chanted anti-government slogans during the procession.
