41st death anniv of Gen MAG Osmani observed

The 41th death anniversary of General MAG Osmani, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces during the War of Liberation, was observed on Sunday, reports BSS.

To observe the death anniversary, the 17th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army paid rich tributes to Osmani by placing wraths at his grave at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Dargah in Sylhet in the morning.

General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 17 Infantry Division and Sylhet Area Commander, Major General A SM Ridwanur Rahman paid tribute to him.
