Information Minister Hasan Mahmud on Sunday said a quarter is trying to take advantage by creating unrest at BUET over the killing of its student Abrar Fahad, reports UNB.
He made the remark at the Secretariat while speaking with journalists.
The minister said, "We've noticed that a group, especially BNP and its allies, has pushed their agents among the students manipulating their emotions to continue the protests although their demands were already met."
"Islami Chhatra Shibir and Chhatra Dal have become active after the Abrar Fahad killing incident," the minister said, adding that they also have taken a vicious move to drive the issue to different sector.
