AL local govt polls nomination board meeting Friday

A meeting of Awami League (AL) Local Government Election Nomination Board will be held on Friday with its chief Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, reports UNB.
The meeting will be held at Prime Minister's official residence Ganobhaban at 7:00 pm.
The Election Commission (EC) will hold elections to some 133 local bodies - 125 union parishads (UPs), seven municipalities and an upazila parishad-- on December 28 next.
The EC on November 12 announced the election schedules for the local government bodies.
