ASI held for MIST student Yamin murder

SAVAR, Aug 3 (BSS): Savar police has arrested Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police Mohammad Ali from Murapara area under Rupganj Thana of Narayanganj district for his alleged involvement in killing Shaikh Ashabul Yamin, reports BSS. Ashabul Yamin, a third year student of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), was killed in a police firing on an armored police car (APC) near Savar bus stand on July 18 last year. Police, by the APC, allegedly dragged his body from the bus stand area.
