BCL men hand over suspected Shibir man to police at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, March 18: Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) of Rajshahi University (RU) unit handed over a suspected Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) activist to police.

The BCL men caught him from Shah Makdum hall of the university on Saturday at 11.00 pm and roughed up.

The suspected shibir man was identified as Ismail Hossain, a resident of Bagmara thana in Rajshahi district.

The victim said he came to Rajshahi to learn motor driving recently and is staying in a rented mess at Mirzapur adjacent to the university area.

"BCL men suspected me as an activist of ICS and beat me up when I came to hall dining to take meal at night," he claimed.
