BNP frustrated realising their defeat: Quader

NOAKHALI, Dec 29 (UNB): BNP leaders have been expressing frustration realising their certain defeat in Sunday's election, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said on Saturday.

"An atmosphere for conducting a free and fair election is prevailing," he told a press briefing in Noakhali.

Quader said he was confident of AL's victory. "The AL-led alliance will form the government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina," he said.

Noakhali-4 grand alliance candidate and AL's district unit General Secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury and other local leaders were present at the briefing.
