BNP holds rallies in Jhalakathi for 31-point reform outline

JHALAKATHI, Feb 11 (BSS): Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has held street rallies and distributed leaflets in order to connect with the people over the implementation of the party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's 31-point outline for structural reforms in the country.

Md Habibur Rahman Selim Reza, president of New York South unit of BNP, USA, organised the street rallies and leaflet distribution campaigns in various markets and villages of six unions of Kathalia upazila in the district from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Tuesday.

Hundreds of leaders and workers of the party participated in the street rallies at 20 places including Koikhali Bazar in Checharirampur union number-1 of the upazila, Patikhalghata, Banai, Moricbunia, Amua, Taltola, Kathalia Sadar, Kachua Bazar, Centerer Hat, Shauljalia, Munshirabad, Akoner Hat and Satani Bazar.

BNP leader Habibur Rahman also exchanged views with journalists at the Kathalia Press Club.
