BNP itself doesn't want Tarique's return: Quader

NARAYANGANJ, Apr 28, (BSS) Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said on Saturday BNP itself now does not want that party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman returns to the country.

Referring to BNP leader Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain's recent remarks that the AL government cannot bring back Tarique by any means, Quader said the remark stated that BNP does not want their acting chairman's return to home.

The minister was addressing a public rally organided by Araihazar upazila AL in Gopindi area with its president Shahjalal Miah in the chair. Earlier, the minister inspected Bhulta-Araihazar-Bancharampur-Nabinagar road development works.

Quader said BNP is in crisis now as BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is imprisoned in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
